OHS want to encourage as many students as possible to get involved in co-curricular activities. There are many activities on offer for students for whom sport is not their activity of choice.
Being involved in co-curricular activities is an important part of an holistic learning environment. There are so many benefits that result from becoming involved in activities outside of your normal classes. You are able to meet new friends, often from different year levels who share a common interest with you. You get to know different teachers, learn new skills and most importantly develop a greater sense of belonging to the school community. Having interests outside of the classroom makes coming to school more enjoyable.
