OHS Service Council Supports Cancer Society.

OHS Service Council Supports Cancer Society.

The OHS Service Council has decided to give their support to the ‘Relay for Life’ and they need our help! Please consider helping this great cause.

Kia ora Onehunga High whānau,

Let’s do something remarkable together!

Relay For Life – Te Ara Toiora is an inspiring community event that gives us all the opportunity to: 🌟 Whakanui (celebrate) those who have or have had cancer, along with the people who care for them. 🕯️ Maumaharatia (remember) loved ones lost to cancer. 💪 Tū atu (fight back) by raising awareness and funds for the Cancer Society.

Every day, 74 New Zealanders are diagnosed with cancer. The Cancer Society provides vital support, including specialist advice, transport to treatment, and accommodation for those receiving care far from home. They also fund life-saving research and advocate for cancer prevention policies—ensuring that no one faces cancer alone.

This year, our Service Council has chosen to support this incredible cause, and we need your help!

As a Onehunga High School family, let’s stand together.

You can support us by: ✅ Joining our team ✅ Sponsoring our fundraiser ✅ Donating to this important cause

Thank you for your support—every contribution makes a difference!

Ngā mihi,

 Onehunga High Service Council
