We would like to extend our congratulations to Sam Davy on receiving a well-deserved ARA Fine Arts Award.

Sam, who left OHS last year, is beginning his studies at Victoria University. HOD of Arts, Mr Anthony Clark, commented that, ‘as early as Year 9 it was clear that Sam had natural talent.’ Sam is a talented painter.

 The awards are presented to up to 30 top final-year art students from Auckland secondary schools. Each recipient receives $1,500 to support their continuing tertiary studies in the New Zealand arts sector. We are delighted for Sam and look forward to following his creative journey.
