With the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra

Since we missed out last year, the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra kindly extended their Junior Conducting Programme to us twice this year! As part of this programme, two promising Year 9 musicians, Shea Mendis and Arlo Gould participated in three workshops with APO’s conductor-in-residence, Ingrid Martin. During this time, they learnt the fundamentals of conducting an orchestra, which then prepared them to conduct the full orchestra on Monday, 2 December at Due Drop Events Centre. We are grateful for the APO for their ongoing support and our continued partnership – it has enabled our rising stars to shine.
