The Auckland Junior Volleyball Championships are completed for 2024.

The Junior A Girls wrapped-up their campaign with a commendable 4th place finish in Division 3 after a challenging opening day. The team displayed remarkable resilience, bouncing back and finishing strongly.

The Junior A Boys team had a great showing! Finishing 4th overall is a commendable achievement, especially as the top team in their pool. Nui Tixier’s performance was a highlight—his athleticism and skill made a strong impact in this talented team of players.

Both teams now turn their attention to the North Island Junior Championships which begin this week.

Well done to coaches Bryce Griffiths and Joe Sax, and the OHS senior students for leading the teams. We wish both teams well for the North Island Championships.
