Our recent Health Science Academy Fono held on Wednesday the 14th of August was well attended by our students and families.
This HSA fono focused on sharing information regarding scholarships, including where to find them and the process in how to apply for them, which was delivered by Renee Faletui, our programme coodinator from the Te Whatu Ora FOU team.
Faith Fineanganofo, former OHS student who finished in 2021, was a guest speaker who spoke about her experiences as a first year university student as she is in her second year of her Bachelor of Health Science degree at The University of Auckland. She shared tips on how to prepare for exams and offered an insight into where her degree she is studying can take you. It was very timely as many University entrance scholarships close over the next few weeks.
