Ka mahuta a Matariki i te pae, ka mahuta ō tātou tūmanako ki te tau. When Matariki rises above the horizon, our aspirations rise to the year ahead.
Kia Ora Whānau, Matariki has arrived. Our Whānau kaitiaki wants to put on a hākiri for our kura. There will be boil-up fry bread and rēwana being made by our Māori Whānau. If you would like to be a part of this celebration Nau mai, Haere mai with a plate. it doesn't have to be Māori it can be from your own culture. Matariki is the time to come together and celebrate those who have passed on, those who are still here, and creating an environment of inclusiveness for other cultures.
