Food and Hospitality students serve up at Bocuse d’Or Charity Dinner
Three of our best Food and Hospitality students’ Chloe Swaine, Alyssa Hughes and Nikki Ferris, had the opportunity to work at the Bocuse d’Or Charity Dinner held in the ANZ building at the weekend.
At first, they felt intimidated to be in the illustrious company of celebrity chefs like Peter Gordon and Sid Sahrawat at this top-level dinner. They were the youngest people working alongside professionals and some university Catering students, but Chloe who worked in the kitchen and Alyssa and Nikki who worked front of house did an amazing job and soon realized they were up to the task.
This was a wonderful opportunity for the students to experience what it is like to work in a professional kitchen at a high level event. Well done!
