Passion for field of astronomy and physics takes Jake to UC's Mt John Observatory in Tekapo

Jake was one of over 200 applicants from across the nation, and we are delighted to inform you that he is among the 20 successful candidates chosen for this prestigious opportunity.
The programme, hosted at Canterbury University on the 14th to 19th April, is a unique blend of seminars and hands-on practical work. Participants, including Jake, will have the extraordinary opportunity to travel to UC's Mt John Observatory in Tekapo. There, they will explore the cosmic neighborhood using state-of-the-art astronomical instruments, gaining valuable insights into the world of astronomy.
It is worth noting that this trip is fully funded, and it is specifically designed for students who have a keen interest in pursuing further studies in Astronomy or Physics at the university level.
