Excellence Assembly to celebrate the NCEA achievement

The whole school attended OHS's Excellence Assembly to celebrate the achievements of our top Level 1 and Level 2 students in 2023.

The assembly was opened by Amber Keisha Kuluia Hampton-Toko-Mikahere with a Karakia, followed by a Mihimihi, led by Kara Belk and a Waiata Tautoko performed by the OHS Kapa Haka students.

Principal Shameen Hayat spoke of her gratitude and pride for the staff and students who worked hard to ensure the success of so many. It is important to recognise the hard work, focus and dedication of those students whose diligence and determination have ensured their academic success.

Congratulations to all those students honoured and special congratulations to Cameron Ross, Nu’ufou Telea and Hazel Thrush for their outstanding results.
