Debating team in the Auckland Regionals

It takes both courage and skill to take part in a debate.

Our debating team are all year ten students, yet Cleo Milne, William Scott, Daniel Grange and Ja-bez Halasima took part in the Auckland Regionals last Saturday and performed very well against much more experienced and senior teams. The students learnt a lot, worked cohesively and can see their own potential. They enjoyed the experience and enthusiastically await their next competition, the Junior Open on April 8th.

Any other students keen to work on their public speaking skills are encouraged to join our lunchtime Debate Club sessions Tuesdays Break Two in E1.
