Y10 students thrive at the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra’s (APO) 'Can you be a Conductor?
Could you be a conductor? Year 10 music students: Cleo Milne, Ronan Laing, and Amelia Fong demonstrated that they can!
Over the past couple of months, the three Year 10 students have taken part in Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra’s (APO) 'Can you be a Conductor?' programme. This is an annual opportunity that is exclusive to a select few Onehunga High School music students, as part of our partnership with the orchestra. After attending a few sessions to learn about the fundamentals of conducting, they each stepped up to the challenge of conducting the APO on Saturday, 6th April and did a fantastic job.
Thank you APO for the experience and well done Cleo, Ronan, and Amelia. You have made OHS proud!
